OSOPIA®is a synthetic Biphasic Calcium Phosphate (BCP) manufactured using an innovative proprietary process that induces ectopic bone formation in muscle and epithelial tissues. It is mineralized like FDBA and has an osteopromotive 3DI surface that closely mimics the inductive properties of DFDBA. Therefore it resembles a mix of FDBA and DFDBA without the problematic safety and ethical issues of using allograft bone.
